The Disadvantages of Homeschooling

There are many disadvantages children that are homeschooled have. Being homeschooled the children do not get  have the opportunity to interact with their peers and build relationships with them. Socialization and isolation is a major part in being homeschooled. Usually homeschooling consists of just there siblings or if they are an only child they are by them self. They do not get to interact with kids their own age, only if they go to church or play with their neighbors. The children do not have the opportunity to make new friends each and every day, they are limited to their friend groups. Cost is another disadvantage in homeschooling. The average homeschool family spends $900 each year. In a public school the schooling is free and the state pays for the kids to go to school and get an education. Being homeschooled you do not get the chance to face challenges with peers and learn how to overcome them to get ready for the real world. Homeschooling does not help you become a social person and interact with others. The kids are isolated and to theirselves, and not having the opportunity to enjoy spending time with friends at school. Homeschooled children miss out on a lot of activities, such as extra curricular activities and it makes them feel as if they are left out.Unknown.jpeg      Unknown-1.jpeg

Benefits/Advantages of Homeschooling

There are many benefits and advantages homeschooling has over students that go to public schools. Homeschooling allows to have more one on one time with the students and get a better understanding of how they interpret there academics. Homeschooling lets you have the ability to build strong bonds with your students or children. Most homeschooled children have their parents as their teachers. This is a way they get to be around their kid more, keep them safe from violence, drugs, and etc, and create strong bonds with their child. Another advantage is you get to make sure the child gets the concept and  spend extra time if necessary,  if they do not get the concept of that lesson that day. You also get to have personal interactions with one another and get to to take school with you wherever you go, even a family vacation. There are many benefits and advantages homeschooling has over the kids that attend public schools that I think are important.
