Homeschooling you shapes you into a different person than a child that attends a public school. They are usually more intelligent and just odd and they admit it. They love it though because that is who they are and they are successful in life. Homeschooling also makes them socially awkward because they are not around a lot of kids. They do not know how to carry on normal conversations with people and tend to not fit in with many. Homeschooled children tend to go up higher in companies and become the boss you typically see because they are not distracted by peer pressure and focus on their learning. Many people find them weird but they are being who they want to be.

Life Lessons
Being Homeschooled you learn a lot of life lessons and some you do not get to experience from not being in a public school. Homeschooled children learn how to experience and learn how to do things on their own. They value learning and achieve more in the real world because they want to achieve more and help them be successful in life and not worry about financial needs. The real life skill building is stronger than other children that are not homeschooled because they learn it at home. There are so many more but here are a few life lessons that I came up with. Some of the life lessons they do not get to experience are not experiencing being picked on and overcoming kids being mean. This will help them in the real world for the kids not to let people run over them. They usually are socially awkward because they have never been around a lot of friends and have a small circle of friends. Do not get to participate in public sport groups and be on a school team with their friends. There are so many more but here are a few that I could come ups with.

Homeschooled Kids Tend To Be Smarter
Homeschooled children tend to be smarter than kids that attend public or private schools. They become smarter because they get one on one time with the teacher and learn at their own pace. The child can not move further along to the next thing until they understand the material. At a regular school you do not get to have the opportunity for that because their are so many kids to teach. They tend to be more focused on school than other things so they learn and want to learn because that is all that they are taught. They tend to do better on standardized tests and usually graduate college early also. Home schooled children have many advantages and this is one and it makes them seem smarter than kids that attend public or private schools.

Children with parents that have money tend to do better in school because they want to be like their parents and not to have to worry about financials. Homeschooled children do better on tests and in college. They are ahead on their classes and usually graduate early because they are ahead of kids that attend public schools. This topic varies in many ways. There isn’t an exact answer to this question. Public schools are more popular for families with mid to low incomes, because their kid’s education is free. For families with higher incomes with more money and time, homeschooling is more popular than public schools for kids. This topic is very opinionated in many ways. Some people may think that public schools are more popular, because a lot of kids go to a public school, but they really don’t know the exact number of children in homeschooling and public schools. A lot of people think that public schools are more beneficial for free education and transportation. The parents do not have to worry about their kids why they go to work. With homeschooling that is your job is teaching your kids and usually cannot work while being the teacher at home. Many people have different opinions about this topic and can go either way.

Homeschooling Is More Expensive
Homeschooling is more expensive than attending a public school. Attending a public school, you have the opportunity for your child to get a free education. There are no worries about any costs or even transportation for the kids. On the other hand, homeschooled children have to purchase the books and the curriculum for them to learn. On average the homeschooled household you have to usually spend 900$ per student per year. If a child attends a public school they do not even have to pay for lunch or breakfast they eat there for free if they sign up for it. Even in the younger grades you have free snacks for snack time, and as you get older you can pay for snack time. When the child is homeschooled they have to worry about having food every meal for their child and them attending school you do not have to worry about them, the school is feeding them everyday. There are a lot of differences in homeschooling and kids attending a public school by the costs. Homeschooling is very expensive, and usually only people that have great incomes have the chance for that instead of low income families.

Is Homeschooling Better Than Public Schooling?
This topic on if homeschooling is better than public schooling is really just an opinion there is no right or wrong answer. Public schooling is free and allows the kids to participate in extra curricular activities such as sports, band, and etc. In homeschooling you do not get the opportunity to participate in those activities and not have the chance to meet new friends and build social skills. In public schools the class size is much bigger and homeschooled children is usually just them or their siblings. Homeschooled children you get more one on one time in learning than public schools. You get to take your time on certain educational topics and not have to go on everyone’s pace you can go on just that one child’s pace. You give that child your undivided attention and for public schools you have so many kids sometimes you never know if they have learned the material. For this topic it just really depends on what works best for you and your family.

Why Do Homeschooled Children Perform Better On Tests?
Homeschooled children perform better on standardized tests than most children that attend public or private schools. Homeschooled children usually come from parents with a high education level and higher incomes. These children usually watch TV less than children that attend public and private schools. There parents are their teachers so they get to see what the child does and learns everyday and never miss out. I know at my school my teachers never really cared if we learned anything it was always busy work. My mom was always the one teaching me when i did not know the material. Being homeschooled you have an advantage of your parents teaching you and they always want whats best for you. If they have a higher income family that family will want them to be successful like them and will do anything to help them get there. These children have successful parents that make a lot of money and the kids will want to be like them one day. They are great role models for their kids in helping achieve their goals and become successful in life and it starts with their educational level.

Why is isolation and socialization hard for homeschooled children?
Isolation and socialization is sometimes hard for homeschooled children. It is hard for homeschoolers to have friends because they do not attend public or private school with people their own age, they might be with their brother/sister or by theirselves most of the time. They do not have the opportunity to socialize with kids their own age at school and make new friends each and everyday. They have to meet their friends at church, playground/park, and etc. Sometimes homeschoolers are different in making friends because, they are isolated at their house and learning by theirselves usually with their parents. Sometimes you will see the kid playing by theirselves or have imaginary kids because they do not get the chance to make friends or know how to make friends being isolated being homeschooled. They are not aloud to be on sports team at school, so the only way they can play sports is travel ball or recreational ball. They are not even able to be on teams such as quizbowl and etc or being in the band. They are not aloud to do a lot of events at schools and make friends. Isolation and socialization is a very hard aspect for those children to face and hard for them to make friends.

It is proven that homeschool children excel more in the classroom than children that attend private or public schools. Homeschool children have more one on one time in learning any educational skills including math, reading, and etc. This helps them understand the material better and faster than kids that attend public or private schools. Homeschooled children have an opportunity to learn on their own pace and not have to wait on others and skip ahead if they already know the topic. They excel more because they get the opportunity to stay at home and bond with their parents or teachers more and build trust and a personable relationship. If they build a special bond they are more than likely to better in school. They are not aloud to cheat or sleep in class and some public or private school allow it and teachers cannot always see what each child is doing. Being homeschooled you can see if they are and they really cannot without being caught or have no one to cheat on. They really have to learn the material than rely on someone else’s work. There are many ways homeschooled children excel more than public and private schools and it is a proven fact.
